Bold faith must be attached to something. It’s not a product of the mind. It isn’t a product of will power. Bold faith comes from the heart of man. It doesn’t make sense because it’s not based on anything sensual…meaning it’s not based on anything that can be substantiated by our 5 physical senses. Bold faith is born from the Holy Spirit revealing the truth of God’s Word to us in such a way that we no longer believe it to be true. We know it to be true. Faith Works When Revelation is Present

Faith works when the Word of God is revealed. For instance, you can’t have faith to be healed of a debilitating illness unless you know that it’s God’s will to heal you of said illness. You can’t have faith to believe for the salvation of a loved one unless you know God’s Will concerning the salvation of the loved one. Faith doesn’t hang on thin air. Quitting is not an option for the born again believer who finds his or her strength in the Word of God. Sure life may be tough. Sure we may feel disoriented. But quitting, especially when the creator of heaven and earth is our Father should, never be an option. Question: When did God quit and give up on you? Personally, I was a great sinner. I had perfected some sins. I even recruited others to sin along with me. But for all those years, God was faithful. He never gave up on me. You might have a similar story. The source of anxiety is stepping from a solid platform onto an unstable, unknown or untrusted platform. For the Christian, our solid platform is God’s Word. Nothing in the Universe is as sound, reliable or dependable as the Word of God. Safety and security from the many threats and dangers in life can only come through God’s Word. Anything outside of the Word of God can only give a false sense of security. The scriptures say that He upholds all things by the Word of His Power (Hebrews 1:3). Anything that we place our trust in to safeguard our family, our assets, or our possessions is subject to this world. Likewise anything that is subject to this world and this world system is dependent upon the frailties of mankind.
