Safety and security from the many threats and dangers in life can only come through God’s Word. Anything outside of the Word of God can only give a false sense of security. The scriptures say that He upholds all things by the Word of His Power (Hebrews 1:3). Anything that we place our trust in to safeguard our family, our assets, or our possessions is subject to this world. Likewise anything that is subject to this world and this world system is dependent upon the frailties of mankind.
I’d like to encourage you today to place your safety and security in the God who cannot fail. Things in your life may look bleak for a time, but God is faithful. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Don’t lean on your understanding and watch the God of the miraculous move mountains in your life.
