Finding the Will of God

Finding the will of God before entering into petition prayer helps us to hold fast to our faith until victory is realized. When we pray knowing who we are, what we have, and what we can do in Christ, in essence, we have the answer to our prayer before it’s prayed. Knowing we already have that which we’re asking for (1 John 5:14-15) makes living by faith easy. We’ll know that any delay in the realization of what we’ve prayed for by the will of God, with the faith of God is merely gaining momentum.

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you…Matthew 6:33. Priorities are important to God. I think sometimes that we can become consumed with the affairs of life and in the process, our priorities can become misplaced. Living life within the context of the will of God, dictates that we seek the kingdom of God first. The kingdom of God is the “government” in which we were born into when we became Christians (Colossians 1:13). It means seeking God’s way of doing things in any given situation. Worry about the future blinds us to the present and the presence of God in our day to day lives.

Romans 10:17 Says Faith Comes By Hearing

Romans 10:17 says faith comes by hearing. However in order to hear from God, we must surrender to what His Word has to say about any given situation we find ourselves in. Surrendering to the Will of God stimulates faith. Submitting and aligning my will with His is faith in action. When I became a Christian, I surrendered my life to the Lord and the process of surrendering my will to His Will is an ongoing process. That’s what living by faith is.
