Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). We as Christians are world overcomers. But the victory we have has been provided to us and not because of us. The bible says that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in us (Romans 8:11). As God begins to bless others through us, His children, lets remember that the results we see here in this life is because of the one who lives in us and not because us.

Never Follow The Masses

Never follow the masses. This is not our home. We live in an anti-Christ society. We as Christians are going in the opposite direction of the flow of this world. Take a look at the things that are important in the world today and look at them through the lens of Christianity and you’ll see that the world view of things is counter to Christian beliefs. Avoid getting caught up in the flow of pop culture. Be wary of the direction that the masses are heading in. If you choose to follow the leader, make sure you know what direction the leader in heading in.

Social media Christians live lives that are very difficult for real-world Christians to relate to. They’re always smiling. They are world travelers. They drive nice cars and live in great homes. They have amazing children and marriages and they are always on top of the world. You can find them posting like crazy on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the like about they’re amazing lives. The confession of sins, according to James 5:16 will never happen in the life of a social media Christian. To do this would crack the facade that they live behind. And the saddest thing is that they don’t even know that they’re Christianity is phony.

Seek First The Kingdom

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you…Matthew 6:33. Priorities are important to God. I think sometimes that we can become consumed with the affairs of life and in the process, our priorities can become misplaced. Living life within the context of the will of God, dictates that we seek the kingdom of God first. The kingdom of God is the “government” in which we were born into when we became Christians (Colossians 1:13). It means seeking God’s way of doing things in any given situation. Worry about the future blinds us to the present and the presence of God in our day to day lives.
