Comparing apples to oranges can’t be done because……well, because apples are different than oranges. Likewise, we as Children of God must never allow ourselves to fall into the trap of comparing our lives and the way God deals with us to the way He deals with another brother or sister in the family. We are as unique to Him as the fingerprints He has given us. We are distinctly difference individuals and as such, God deals with us in distinctly different ways tailoring His love distinctly for you and you alone.

God the Father is literally our Father. And what Father doesn’t respond when he hears his child in distress? We are Children of God. The degree of His love for us won’t be fully known or understood until we’re seated in His lap in heaven. But as we stretch our imaginations here on earth, we must trust by faith that we’re the apple of His eye. Trust that He is with us. Trust that He will deliver us, no matter what we’re going through. He is our Father and we are His children.

The father of lies lies. That’s what he does. That’s his “claim to fame”. So when his children lie and utter untrue words aimed toward you, know that they are being true to their nature. Don’t give credibility to their lies by becoming angry. Allowing yourself to become aroused when a liar does what’s in his or her DNA goes against our nature as children of God. We stand for the truth and a lie will never be able to stand in the light of the truth.
