Seeds of Faith: What’s Being Planted in the Ground of Your Heart?
Seeds are representative of an end product. Seeds are where life originates. A seed planted in good soil is where we begin the germination process toward producing an end result.

God loves you. No matter who you are. Regardless of what you’ve done. No matter what direction your life seems to be going in. You must settle the fact in your heart that God loves you. For you, this might be the ultimate act of faith.

Distinctly different living is living in such a way that others know you by certain standards. We are all individuals and we all have different personalities. However, when you align yourself with certain groups you take on the same traits and characteristics that the group is known for in the eyes of others.

Walking alongside those who are hurting or those who are in need of comforting was a huge part of the ministry of Jesus. Consequently, as His followers, we have a responsibility to recognize and walk alongside those who are hurting as well.

Do you believe that God’s Word is a creative Word? Mark 11:22-23 says, Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whosoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Pinball machines are entertaining. Few kids today can appreciate any game that doesn’t have superior graphics or super sports heroes. But I prefer the old school games such as pinball. As kids, we used to have such a good time trying to determine who could keep the pinball up on the board the longest and who could hit the most obstacles and score the most points.

Judging others based upon what we may have heard about them is something that we must avoid at all costs. Living in this world without judging others becomes increasingly difficult if you’ve been wronged by a particular group of people.

Speaking words is our primary way of communicating with one another. Speaking words is how we convey our thoughts, ideas, and emotions to one another. Unfortunately, sometimes we allow words to come out of our mouths that have more destructive properties than constructive properties.

Affirmations are a drug that we get addicted to from childhood. If you’re a parent, I’m sure you’ve had days when your little one runs up to you with excitement in his or her eyes and presents to you their clay cup or finger painting that they slaved away all day on at school.

Push starting your life and becoming motivated to do the will of God can be done in many different ways. It’s incumbent upon us to find the way that works best for us. Jesus is the source of the power we need to get us through any situation in life. Not only is the power to navigate through this life successfully found in Jesus, but the power to get us out of the funk we find ourselves in from time to time is found in Jesus as well.

Rewards are a good thing. Rewards are a positive thing. Nowhere in the bible or in life, in general, could the word “reward” be used and those who hear that word equate it with something negative. If that’s the case, then why are so many Christians not experiencing rewards or good things in life?

Sin, in and of itself will never cause our God to turn His back on us, His children. In our relationships, most of us have lines that we won’t allow others to cross. Those lines are what we call “deal breakers” and in most instances, relationships are changed forever when these lines are crossed.
For instance, in an employee / employer relationship, if the employer asked an employee to look the other way while he steals money from the company, many employees would consider this a deal-breaker. The employer’s actions may leave the employee with no option other than to break all ties with the company and look for employment elsewhere.

Fishing all day long is our main job. Not fishing for fish, but fishing for men. In calling His first disciples in Mark 1:17 Jesus said, “Come follow me and I will make you fishers of men”.

Stranded alone on an island paints an immediate picture of a castaway. An emaciated soul. One who is destitute and desperately trying to survive long enough to be rescued.

What must I do to be saved? It’s a simple question. It’s the question the jailer asked Paul and Silas in the Book of Acts 16:30.

Jesus is the reason for the season is a popular holiday saying related to Christmas. I agree with the saying. But I believe that Jesus is the reason for every season.

15 After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision:
“Do not be afraid, Abram.
I am your shield,
your very great reward.”
2 But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3 And Abram said, “You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir.”

20 Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. 21 And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.”

22 Then He said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. 23 Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
