Expecting Victory Yields Victory
Expecting: to look forward to the probable occurrence or appearance of…to presume as likely to happen.

If you continue are probably the three most powerful words in the bible. If you continue is certainly my most favorite phrase of the bible. In John 8:31-32, Jesus said to those Jews who believed on Him, “If you continue in My Word, then you are my disciples indeed and you will know the truth and the truth will make you free”.
Blessings from God are divvied up as He wills. No one can dispute or deny that fact. But if that’s the case, we can ask the question “Does God play favorites with His children?” If He did, would He still be considered a just God?
Death and the feelings of grief that come with death can be emotionally draining. There have been countless situations where a spouse never fully recovers from the death of a partner, particularly if the pair had been married for a long time. Then there is the pain that comes from the death of a child. It’s been said that it’s not natural for a parent to bury a child.
Abandonment is a feeling that every one of us has had to face at one time or another in our lives. When going through it, it seems there is nothing remotely positive that can be derived out of feeling abandoned. Only in the aftermath of the event can we somewhat see the benefit of what we perceived to be abandonment at the time.
Reuniting with loved ones has shown me that time cannot break the bonds that have been established between people.
God will never leave you nor forsake you regardless of where you may be currently in life. There is nothing you can do to separate yourself from the love of God. God is that friend that sticks closer to us than a brother.
Heart problems can wreak havoc on your life. When I refer to heart problems, I’m not speaking of the blood pump in your chest. I’m talking about the spirit that God placed within you. Man is the greatest of all of God’s creations. God breathed the very Spirit of Himself into man.
Believe in something bigger. Something stronger. Believe in something more reliable. Those are very simple words. On the surface, believing in something bigger seems pretty easy to do. But yet most Christians have difficulty believing in something bigger in the midst of difficult circumstances.
Jealousy within the Body of Christ, if left unchecked, can easily rear its ugly head and cause dissension within the Body. Competition mixed with a desire to be used by God can cause the demise of a ministry that started out with a bright future.
Christ-like images of God’s nature and the love that He has for people can change any negative image, experience, or misconception the world may have of Christianity.
Living life in a bubble comes with pros and cons. In this post, I’ll be dealing mostly with the cons of living life in a bubble. Life happens 24/7/365 all around us. Most of us choose to make our own lives the focus of our attention and exclude the sometimes obvious plight of those around us.
Epic moments and opportunities for miraculous displays of courage take place in our lives daily. These moments can be handed down for generations to come. It’s up to us to recognize these opportunities and act on them.
Seeds are representative of an end product. Seeds are where life originates. A seed planted in good soil is where we begin the germination process toward producing an end result.
God loves you. No matter who you are. Regardless of what you’ve done. No matter what direction your life seems to be going in. You must settle the fact in your heart that God loves you. For you, this might be the ultimate act of faith.
Distinctly different living is living in such a way that others know you by certain standards. We are all individuals and we all have different personalities. However, when you align yourself with certain groups you take on the same traits and characteristics that the group is known for in the eyes of others.
Walking alongside those who are hurting or those who are in need of comforting was a huge part of the ministry of Jesus. Consequently, as His followers, we have a responsibility to recognize and walk alongside those who are hurting as well.
Do you believe that God’s Word is a creative Word? Mark 11:22-23 says, Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whosoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Pinball machines are entertaining. Few kids today can appreciate any game that doesn’t have superior graphics or super sports heroes. But I prefer the old school games such as pinball. As kids, we used to have such a good time trying to determine who could keep the pinball up on the board the longest and who could hit the most obstacles and score the most points.
Judging others based upon what we may have heard about them is something that we must avoid at all costs. Living in this world without judging others becomes increasingly difficult if you’ve been wronged by a particular group of people.
